Source for front hub?

Yes, I need a hub, not Huib :)

Got the new wheel bearing in the mail yesterday, and soon discovered that the bad bearing caused the whole hub to go bad, and it doesn't look like it can be fixed. Is this an available part, or do I have to look in junkyards?

Doesn't look like I'll be bringing the Fulvia to the huge charity car show next weekend (over 5000 cars) at the Countrywide mortgage headquarters. Looks like Ed's going to have to represent the Lancia name!

Its often the case that when the bearing gets loose then the mounting stub wears making any new bearing a non starter. You will need a second hand stub in good condition, and keep the bearing done up tight (very tight!). You could try Omicron in UK see above for contacts as they have a lot of spares including secondhand.

You will still need a good shop to remove the old bearing from its housing (ie the big 4-5 inch castellated nut that rusts well into the housing...).

Hi Tim.

Thanks for the advice. By "mounting stub" do you mean the hub, or it that a different part I have to search for?

The bit of the hub that the wheels bolt to and slides into the bearing - ie the bearing inner surface is in contact.

I have no idea if Mike Kristick has bearings in stock, but here is another source. However, don't forget to factor in exchange costs and shipping from Europe.

Personally, I'd rather support my "local" supplier(s) when possible.
