I have got a rhd s2 and I live in france, the speedo has no km markings, first of all is the drive gear the same as an mph one and is there anyone out there with a km speedo who fancies a swap? PS Glorious day, and i've just finished my first 600 miles in the car------------- excellent.

This may seem a bit obvious once you think about it, but the speedo drive gear doesn't change. Any given speed is the same whether you measure it in mph or kph--only the markings on the dial face change.

So you can just find a km speedo and swap the entire unit, with no other changes needed (of course the odometer won't be correct), or you can take apart that same km speedo and switch the dial face to your current speedo (the best answer), or you can simply add a second set of markings to your current dial face.
