Solex 35 Carbs, how do you open them?!?

Hi there,

my Solex PHH 35 carbs have been leaking for some time on the underside of the carbs, so I thought buing a new seal kit would be a good idea. Now I am trying to rebuild them. I need to open the chambers on the underside of the carb in order to put the new seal in, but for some reason, I cant open the bigger one (sorry, got no idea what its called). I had no problem opening the small one with the membrane, but the bigger one wont open. I didnt want to use to much force, I am afraid to break something. I unscrewd the four screws on the underside of the carb, but I think there could be a 5th one from the inside of the carb, but I couldnt find anything looking like a screw or bolt. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks a lot!!!

Max

It is also the bottom of the float bowl. Tap gently from the top, that is remove the float and tap on the bottom of the float chamber.
Before you reassemble make sure the parts are flat by sanding them on a piece of sanding paper on flat glass.
