Hi all

Urgent advise on what tool to use to remove and replace valves on fulvia cyclinder head.

My standard valve spring compressors al for in line heads and dont clear the angles.

Any reference to proprietry tooling such as from sykes would be helpful - OR IS IT necessary to make something??

Tim

Buy a Fulvia valve spring compressor. Or take it to the engine shop where they have a pneumatic tool. Or imitate the equipment of the engine shop and make a stand under the correct angle and use the hydraulic press

What is your experience of loose valve guides in fulvia heads. My 1600 has
at least one exhaust guide which slides in the head. It's o/d is
12.90-12.89mm. I managed to get this valve spring undone but now need to
seek a better compressor.

PS since reposting I have bought a standard valve compressor from Clark range with the top hat arrangement and all valves now removed. No other guides appear to be loose.
