I am thinking about breaking the above car . I sold it to someone late last year and then he went and damaged the bottom end.The block must be warped due to the heat as the piston carriers are scraping against the block.After 2 monthswork i have decided to give up.I have to decide wether to break or rebuild finding another engine permitting.Is there any interst for parts or rebuild project for anyone on this web site

How does someone do that to a Thema ? Run it without oil ? Have you stripped the engine down or are you judging the scraping by noise alone ?
What year is the car ? The Lancia and Dedra Consortium may be interested if you are going to break the car up.
