Alternator Sparking!

I had a strange issue that came up, the RHS bolt that holds the alternator seems to "shoot" a spark when you rev the engine and it becomes more intense the higher you rev...
Possibly an electrical leak?

What do you mean by RHS bolt?
Anyway, on the engine side there is a long bolt on which the alternator hinges. It is mounted in rubbers thus electrically insulated from the engine.
On the other side there is a short M8 bolt fastening the alternator to the bracket. The bottom end of the bracket has a plastic bush and is therefore also electrically insulated from the engine.
To connect the casing of the alternator (which is the minus of the 12V) to the engine there should be a wire from the short M8 bolt on the bracket side to one of the M6 bolts on the cover of the auxiliary shaft which drives the fuel pump and the oil pump. Is this ground wire there?

a no-guess guess: right hand side

Yes, right hand side, when facing it head on that is, it's the bolt, as Huib said, which connects the alternator to the block.
Huib, I will have a look for the ground wire, don't remember seeing it!
