help identifying car

Ok, I know this is hard with no pics (I'm working on it) but this car, which I am 95% sure is a Lancia, looks very much like a Beta, but with a softer roofline much like the Flavia Coupe. There are also vents in the fenders (very Bertone style). One very distinct feature is the hood, which does NOT extend all the way to the grill. In other words, it is bordered on all sides, including the front, by about 6 inches of body.
Any help, tips or advice in ID'ing this car would be HUGELY appreciated!

Haven't a clue form the description. Go to
http://www.carsfromitaly.com/lancia/index.html and look for it there. However from your description it sounds like an Alfa Romeo junior or giuila coupes. Find them at
http://www.carsfromitaly.com/alfaromeo/index.html.

Thanks. I know it's not much to go on. I need to put up a picture. I have SCOURED carsfromitaly.com and a number of other sites looking for one-year changes that could be this car. But I just can't find it! It looks to be part Lancia Flavia, part Fiat 2000 Dino, part Maserati ... I can't nail it. It has the side vents of Bertone (and pininfarina) but not the hood and nose they are known for. It is really haunting me, that's for sure. I want to buy it, but I have to know what it is first, and the owner isn't on site for a super detailed investigation (under-hood, etc).

I wonder if you are talking about the Iso Rivolta. Is it a smaller car than that? If we're talking about a roofline a bit like the Beta and Flavia coupes, I am reminded of the Monteverdi (I believe it's the 375 model). The Monteverdi is big too.
