Here is the - shortened - text I read:

Lancia Fulvia's engine

Fulvia's engine was designed by Eng. PhD. Mina with goal to build very compact unit.
Matter of Fact : V architecture to keep small overall length, angle of V narrow (12.00.00 degrees) to have single head, real DOHC distribution, can be considered short stroke. Base is cast iron, head in aluminum alloy like crankcase & oil cup. The cc ranges from 1.1 to 1.6 of Fanalone. 1.8 version for only racing was rumored.

Some Lancia labourer remember a Fulvia powered 850cc engine.

Lancia never acknowledged the specials.

Engine in last evolution alimented by 2 double barrel carbs.

There are 4 experimental version of engine with mechanical injection. 1st using Kügelfischer injection a 810.540 with displacement reduced at 1500cc & special cylinder head.
The 2d was an experiment by Facetti on 1,300cc engine for a Zagato Competizione, was quite unsuccessful. 3d attempt by Baggioli on 818.342 variante 1014 engine oversized to 1401cc achieved great power from use of a sequential double spark.

Yes, there are links to this and much more on the viva-lancia home page.
In fact, this is one of the first key information resources I used both before and after buying my car.
Cheers!

Anyone know who put up this site? Is there a home page?

Its kind of wierd reading detailed information without a body behind it. There was on one page a "text by...." note.

Geoff, here's the starting point for various Fulvia details on the same site:

http://www.alma.it/vanzettip/fulvia/fulviae.html

For some reason Neil's link just goes to the engine section.

even more to the point, it you click on "webmaster" in the box on the right, you'll find the individual behind the site.
