Hello all,

I called Omicron to order a carb overhaul kit for my '74 S3 coupe. The kit comes with a new accelerator pump diaphragm, but apparently there are two different styles of accelerator pumps and it is located under the carb and difficult to see/identify. (Especially if you don't know what it looks like). I don't want to take the carbs off just yet to minimize the amount of time that my Fulvia will be in the garage while I'm waiting for the parts to arrive. Does anyone know of an easier way to identify the correct one? Thanks, Bill

I thought they were all the same for 1300's. with only 1600's being different size/shape/colour. However if your car has emmision control they might be different. You can identify as the carbs have solonoids and wires etc whereas the ordinary ones are like plain.... I seem to remember the mixture screws were different too and ackward to set up. But your car being 74 may not have this final evolution. If you can see some wires then I would order the set for emmission control but your risk.

You can see it at the bottem side of the carb.
Maybe you should use a mirror.
As big as the different of the diaghragm as big is the different
of the cover plate of the accelerator pump.
