Hello All. Please does any one know where I may purchase, without having to pay hundreds of pounds, automatic, inertia reel, seat belts for my S1 Fulvia.
Thank you.

Don't know if they will ship to the UK, but you might want to check this link:

Seat belts

The correct type is for convertibles, even though the Fulvia is a hard top. This is type WELR-N, black, with bucket seat 11" sleeve style, plus mounting hardware.

These work perfectly in my Fulvia, using the existing threaded mounting points.

when I bought my Zagato S2 it had what were perhaps the original lap-belts; which ( I am sure) are better than no belts at all. I will admit that I was terrified to drive it, having grown accustomed to modern 3 point
lap/shoulder inertia belt's, in all positions. Still, to match the sporting-nature of the(little) beast, I knew that harness, racing style belts had to be the best solution. I can't remember where I located a set, but I did. In order to fasten the behind-neck belt, I wrapped it around / fastened it to the cross-bar that also serves as a rear seat (ha ha) back in the Zagato. I shortened that belt to the max & discovered that I was 50 or 100 lbs to light to fill the belt snugly. The lap belt fits fine, using the original bolts & mounting points. Wunce upon a time ( I think ) I remember seeing a simple "buckle" (for lack of a more accurate term) device that could be installed to shorten a "too long belt". So, now when I drive it, I am still terrified. Great Progress ! This is one of reasons I don't drive it much...which is rather dumb ! I could fit into these shoulder belts 2x. I am sure there is a very simple solution...but I've yet to discover it. I decided to not add insult to injury & have yet to install the passenger side belt. Any great suggestions besides..."get a shorter belt" ? thanx in advanceHuib wrote:

You should take a look at Schroth Autocontrol harnesses (available from any number of racing distributors). These are 'clubman'-style 4-point harnesses with an inertia reel on the shoulder strap 'Y'. This sounds as though it's what you're looking for.

I don't believe, though, that the padded luggage bar on the Fulvia Sport is really designed to take harness loading. You should find a place to locate an attachment eyebolt with a load-spreader plate.
