front brake

My front right hand brake is coming on, just slightly, by itself. I know this is happening because it is accompanied by some light brake squeal. When I dab the brake pedal, the brake releases, but the problem can reoccur at any time. I can't trace why it happens and I have taken it to my friendly Italian car specialist, who can't seem to identify the problem/ fix it. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated!

I would first change the brake fluid and see if the pads are worn down most of the way. The pistons tend not to retract as well once they're approaching the extremities of their travel range. It might also be time to rebuild the caliper.
