Can anyone tell me what the recommended mix of coolant/water is for a Fulvia in the South African climate?

Lancia recommended a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water. These days of course one can buy ready-mixed coolant.
I generally used about 30% anti-freeze in England.

The seller of an Alfetta GTV I once owned explicitly told me to use Peugeot coolant as other types may affect the aluminium parts. Any opinions on this thesis? Furthermore, what's the refresh rate of coolant liquid (in time or km)?

Well, this one is a bit of a surprise. I have no special knowledge in this area, but I do know that all reputable anti-freeze, or coolant mixtures contain corrosion inhibitors and of course all manufacturers state that such coolants must be used at all times.
Does Peugeot really have a unique product?
Perhaps we should be told?

I have looked on Huib's CD in the PDF manual for the coolant mix for Series 2 cars, it is recommended 30% anti-freeze and 70% water, making a total of 6.30 litres, of course for 1970's anti-freeze, modern anti-freeze is probably superior.
