Explain thinking behind the design, positioning and timing of the new Delta:

At 3.8 metres, its slightly larger than the current one - and its 5-door, with reqr ddors which have hidden handles like the Alfa 156, 147. It will also have a slightly more sporting character than the current car.
Will the Thesis be replaced?
I think it will, but not for a few years. The Thesis is an important car for us and for Italy (its used in the Italian civil service), and big cars have always been part of the Lancia DNA. But right now the executive saloon market is full, and its a small segment in term of sales.
How do you decide whether to invest in a specific new model?
....-but i think the only car you would say is not a 'proper' Lancia is the Musa. The next one will be different
Will you take the brand further afield?
The Japanese market is a possibility for us, but I'm not interested in America.

Der Mann hat glaube ich verstanden was mit Lancia zu machen ist. Hoffe wir nur dass er es auch durchzeit und die Chance dazu erhält. Saluti!
