na warten wir`s mal ab und hoffen auf alte lancia tugenden jenseits des maintreams, hochqualitative sportlichkeit mit elganter note und unverwechselbarer formaler handschrift (gegen "100% fiat" unter dem blech können wir eh nix mehr machen, das rad werden wir nicht zurück drehen.)

wäre interessant zu wissen ob es einen Wettbewerb Zagato,Bertone usw.. gegeben hat oder ob es ein Direktauftrag war. Bei Ersteren müsste ja Entwürfe da sein.

... ich denke es ist ein direktauftrag, da bertone ganz mies in den roten zahlen hängt und mit dem coupé-cabrio-prototyp (auf grande punto basis) in genf vollen applaus der öffentlichkeit eingefahren hatte. zuerst hieß es ja, es wird ein punto cabriolet ... und nun wird es eben eine fulvia CC ... (ähnlich 206CC, opel twintop, und wie sie alle heißen) und aller voraussicht nach sicher eher wieder ein "mädchen-auto" als ein sportl. eleganter und fahrerbetontes sportcoupé (was wir uns wohl eher wünschen würden)

so what. die neue zielgruppe ist ja bekannt: -> liberal upperclass, woman, metrosexual urban mid-age professionals...

geht man von der Studie aus oder plant man ein ganz neues Modell?

hi mefisto, (bin l.otti und nicht italo) macht aber nix ;0)... nee, bsilang ist gar nicht weiteres bekannt. ich denke die nehmen formal die fulvietta aus 2003 als richtschnur. nicht mehr und nicht weniger. ich pers. denke: es wird wohl eher weniger ....

ich denke mal wie der Brera als Dreancar von Italdesign vorgestellt wurde und zum SerienAlfa Brera wurde, wird es hier sein. Fulvietta Dreamcar zur SerienLanciaFulvietta.
Da man mit der Brera-Aktion gut angekommen ist, versucht man hier das nochmal zu wiederholen.

Hope you all don't mind me reacting in English. According to the info I found on the web regarding this news, the Lancia Design Centre already made a proposal. This will of course have been based on the Grande Punto floorpan and the CC roof design. So the final version could be a mix of the Bertone proto and the 2003 Fulvia. In my opinion it's good news anyway. I think that a higher sales volume could be reached with a Lancia CC than with the Fulvia 2003(which was a great design).
But sales and making money is important, we all must be realistic about that.

Fiat spokesman confirmed that Lancia, a Fiat Auto subsidiary, is "considering the project."

Bertone needs the work. Its only carmaking contract is for 2,000 units of a special-edition, two-seat Mini Cooper S. Production of the car starts in July.

Last September, Lancia dealers were promised a "specialty" model that would go into production in late 2007. The niche car was believed to be a production variant of the Fulvia coupe concept that Lancia unveiled at the 2003 IAA in Frankfurt.

But the coupe was based on a platform Fiat stopped using last spring.

Bertone has been negotiating for two years to build a coupe cabriolet with a retractable hardtop for Fiat. The car was supposed to be based on the Fiat Grande Punto small car.

Fiat doesn't believe it could make a profit with that car but thinks a Lancia version could make money.

Lancia's design center has prepared a full-sized styling model of the coupe cabriolet. Insiders say the model already has received preliminary approval.

Bertone would need 20 to 22 months to start production following a final approval from Fiat. The planned volume is 20,000 units a year.

lassen sich Gpunto mit 6-zylinder motoren und allrad kombinieren? wenn ich den bericht richtig übersetzt habe, geht man davon aus, dass, im gegensatz zu fiat, eine lancia vermarktung profit abwirft. damit muß es ein preislich eher hoch angesetztes produkt sein. kann mir kaum vorstellen das metrosexuelle midage professional women zu 1,4l 16V mit 80 ps greifen.
