Just read in Feb 2006 issue of Octane on page 11
Octane hot tip for classic bargains in 2006 in 7th place series 1 Fulvia.
Wondering what prices people think for s1 HF's should be 1.2,1.3 &1.6?
Do you think 1.2 cost more than 1.6?

Well, Robert had a very good S1; we used to look after it for him. I drove the car and it was nice and sharp, just as an S1 should be.
I was sorry to hear that he had sold it - and bought...

werent they 911's for people who couldnt afford them?
and would they have made good Beetle engines??

Probably a good engine for a Beetle I would say!
Mind you the late Barry Waterhouse used to say that a Porsche was only a Volkswagen with a jazz band in the boot!
