I would like to change the Solexes 42 DDF of my 1972 1.6 HF to twin Weber 40 DCOE because it is imposible to set the Solexes properly, Could anyone let me know which is the appropriate jetting set up for the Webers 40 ?

Re: Weber 40 DCOE Jetting
What exactly is the problem you are having with the Solexes?
I know that they are rather poor carburettors, but it is possible to do something with them.
I have driven a 1600 fitted with 40 DCOE carbs; it went very nicely, but I am afraid I don't know about the jetting. On the other hand I have driven many Solex-equipped cars that also went very nicely!

Re: Weber 40 DCOE Jetting
I don't know the corrct jet sizes either, but when I put twin dellorto 45's on a Fiat I used to own it was just a trial and error exercise with the car on a rolling road. It worked out very well and didn't take long at all.
Worth a try if you can't get some definitive advice.

Pedro,
There are also a number of books floating around that you would find very useful, Haynes publish one on Weber DCOE carbs.
