Child Seats in Fulvias

Hi

Does anyone have any experience in puitting a child seat in the back of a Fulvia? Are there any suitable mountings for a rear safety belt?

I am thinking of a return to Fulvia ownership, ideally with a 1.3 HF or Fanalone - which would compensate for having to part with my hillclimb/sprint Caterham. It may also get me an entry to some of the more prestigous and oversubscribed events.

many thanks

Jonathan

I have a feeling there are some unused threaded seat belt type mountings in the rear shelf (of the coupe at least) - have a look from underneath in the boot. Can't be sure as my car is not here - anyone else know?

Here at Evolution Engineering, we prepared a Fanalone for historic rallying.

I recall that we had to fit mountings to the rear shelf in order to install the competition belts; I am sure that there are no unused mountings available. There certainly are none in my own S1 coupe.

I used to own an ordinary coupé 1,3 Rallye which had twe belts bolted on the same place: one longer for the front seat and a shorter one for my daughter (two years old) I did not check how it was fastened to the bottom though

I've double checked and there are definitely mountings on the series 3 which I look after - 1976. There is one at either side of the parcel shelf, quite close to the rear quarterlight. From what I can see they have always been there? Big mystery!

So, whats the answer? Are there safe anchorage points for rear seatbelts in a 1968 Coupe?
