fulvia body jig
fulvia body jig
I am in the process of restoring the body shell on my S1 fulvia coupe.I want to place the shell on a jig that picks up all mounting areas. Does anyone know of a jig that maybee for sale? or has anyone built one before ?
Re: fulvia body jig
Peter, I\'m sure I\'ve seen a map with the critical specs in Fulvia manuals. Why not built a stout wooden fram that meets all the main spots, the subframe points in front and whatever is listed in the layout for the back, perhaps spring location points, and bolt the car to the wooden frame. I had to do this to a bent Fulvia Zagato and the main problems I have were that the car was level and square from underneath but the aluminum body wasn\'t the same left and right especially in the front. I had to trailer the car to a body shop and have them move the big shapes (front fenders/wings) to that they were roughly right. I doubt you are going to find an accurate jig lying aroind.
