ummm.... sorry to interupt ya'all , but I've had some fun today transplating, sorry, I mean translating, via a transgrating- program, these NL-language messages into English text ...and, while doing this... a thought
(be careful) came into my mind....... DANGER....READ ON ONLY IF YOU DARE !!!!

Is any 1 interested in a Fluvia / Flavia etc Meeting in the general region of ...for example...SW Germany / NW France ?

At the last 2 Benelux Tours there was no "German/French " Fulvia participation (how sad) ; but perhaps many German / French Fulvisti were concerned "how will we speak to the others? ", not realizing that Fulvisti all speak the same Language !!!
& so they stayed home.
Understandable if home is Munich or Berlin or Bordeaux
Not so understandable if home is SW Germany, NW France & NW CH, too.

aaaahhh... I / my Fulvia don't count as being "German" because I am American & so is John Jr.; although my Fulvia has "Event-German-Red-Lettered-License-Plates" ; which are not for everyday driving!!!!
Ha ha, who follows the Law !!!

A Fulvia (Flavia etc) Meeting with (perhaps) not so much emphasis on driving/tearing/screaming around the lovely countryside, since arriving in SW Germany/NW France Region is, in itself, a lot of driving for almost everyone traveling from outside of this corner of Europa.

Well,in any case, I look forward to "some-feedback "
I will post this message today in other Fulvia languages as well...to see what happens

Thinking of the Regions Baden-Würtenburg / Alsasce.

Hi John,

we tried to invite French Lancisti many times. And I also forwarded information about French events but it seems - both - are afraid about language problems. The same people have no problem to travel to France in holidays. Strange. And French people have the same problem to join meetings in Germany.
Even such Lancisti living in the Alsatian region who all understand German.

We had a lot of meetings here at the frontier including excursions to Mulhouse (Musée). No French participation. We had a meeting near Gap and we invited people who were living 10 kms away from our hotel. Nothing!

But we had big meetings in Italy and the French were coming!!!

Next year we have planned a big tour through Austria. Maybe some French will come. But I guess I will have more participants from the UK and even from California.
