EXTRA mounts on the top of the engine ? Any suggestions ?

Hello!

I have a question ... I found 5 mounts that are welded on top of my boxer engine... They are welded in a place near the rotating belt... to run AC compressor or suprecharger (Volumex) or something like that... I looked all over for some additional things to find out what they were used for, but no luck... I made some pictures with my digital cam... Can someone help me with this ? I can e-mail pictures of the mounts... Did anyone play with superchargers back than ? My 1.8 Coupe is imported from Italy ...

Hello Jaro,

I came across an aircon-compressor fitted by mounts made of welded steel material (flat bar and plates) when buying an Coupé 1.8 carb. drive assembly.

You may send the photos, I will compare with want I have.
