Hi, I hope someone can help......
I have a Lancia Flavia Sport and was looking up information in La Lancia. It described here that four cars chassis numbers 1552, 1554, 1556 & 1560 were of "da corsa" specification. Does anyone know what this means, as I have 1552. I believe that "da corsa" in Italian means "race" but I cannot find any other information.
many thanks
Peter
Flavia Sport "da corsa" specification
Re: Flavia Sport \
Hi Peter,
take a close look into Brian Long`s \" Lancia-FromAlpha to Zeta and beyond. On Page 121 and following there is a picture of a car from the scuderia \" Reparto Corse\" and some information. In 1966 they finished second in the Rallye Monte Carlo overall, not bad, isn`t it ? I myself drive the Zagato sport in Race trim, like the car in the picture. Here in Germany I know a man, who still has an original Rolloverbar for roadracing. My car has still the mounting points on the floor for them. If you want, I try to send you some pictures, might take some time, because my pc is actual offline...

Re: Flavia Sport \
Martin,
Many thanks for the reply - the information is very interesting. I would love to see some photographs, when you have a minute. I can also send some of my Flavia Sport, although they may not be too interesting, as my car has been extensively restored. I will find out if there are any signs of competition when I remove and replace the carpets.
I shall also ask around when I take to car to Covent Garden for the (slightly late) 40th anniversary on 14th September. I don't suppose you will be there?
Best regards Peter
