Nardi conversion for 1800ccm engine

Hi there,
i've found in an old 815.300 (from 1963) engine a Nardi crankshaft and pistons with 88,5mm diameter.
I know that a 2 litre version at that time existed
My questions:
What was part of the Nardi conversion kit?
What is the stroke of this crankshaft?
What was the Nardi piston diameter originally?
What was the HP Nardi claimed at that time?

Hello,
My wife wants a Flavia Coupe instead of her Toyota (I am SO impressed with her good taste), and I am building a very nice 1800 example for her, but she wants air-conditioning, since we live in Cape Town and those vinyl seats can get pretty sweaty in summer.
I believe the factory air-con had the compressor way over to one side where the power steering unit is on the 2000.
I thought of replacing the centrally mounted carb with twin Weber IDAs or something like it and mounting the air con compressor above the block. The side effect of the twin carbs would be to boost the power a little to cope with the few bhp that the aircon steals. Of course it would need an electric radiator fan too.
Has anyone done this conversion or something like it? Has anyone any experience putting twin carbs on the boxer engine? I have promised that we can do it, of course, to keep her interested, so I must find a solution soon.

obviously early 1500 coupés had twin solexes as did 1800 flavia sports but later they changed to webers which I have read were much better, I don't ever remember seeing any mention that 815 series car were available with air con but of course I could be wrong, the under bonnet area seems so relatively narrow compared to the later 819/820 cars that I would have thought it something of a squeeze. Perhaps you could retrim the car in cloth(?) they did come so equiped when new as an alternative to vinyl

The twin carbs and the needed linkage is a lot of hassle with very poor results compared to the single carb. These twin carbs were mounted only on the first 1500 cc engines and the Sport Zagato engines. Nardi offered a much better kit with one single Nardi modified Weber 36 DCD, mounted on a special nardi inlet manifold with 4 tubes instead of 2 as per original.
The airco unit will be a tight fit. Try to locate one as small as possible, but I'd choose to tint the windows and have the seats recovered in cloth or leather instead.
Best regards,
