Flaminia Sport Seats

Unread post by Lynn Smull »

Hello all, I've located a couple of sources for reproduction seat frames (Patrick in Germany and Tony Nicosia's contact). However, there is a 1958 Lancia Flaminia Pininfarina Coupe in Seattle on e-bay that looks like a good source of 2.5 engine parts (pretty bad shape, but the price seems right) and I was wondering whether the seat frames out of that car are similar to those used in a Sport (series 1)? If so, this could be a good buy for my resto. Based on e-bay photos, the coupe looks too far gone to be worth restoring. Tell me if I'm off on that assessment and talking heresy.

Thank you,
Lynn

I don't think the PF seats would give you much more than the tracks. The early PF seats were larger than the late PF seat, which was closer to, but not really a bucket. I live in Marin. If you would like to se my (late) PF to compare, I live in San Rafael.

No if these seats ore really for Pinfinfarina, they are not right for Zagato sport, and it's not easy to modify the rails in the zagato for these seats.
