35 dcnl float level

I can't seem to find any doc that specifies this. Rather than mess around for 50 years, does anyone have a reasonable number to start from?

Thanks,

With a sight tube (tool #8015350) bolted to the side of the carb, fuel pump running, and a slight drip from the sight tube drain, there should be a fuel level 21.5/23.5mm below the top of the body of the carb, that is, below the gasket.

Sketch 33I, 25/3/59, single sheet, in the shop manual, gives the gaps from float to cover, in horizontal, as: valve open=9.5 to 9mm, valve closed=3.5 to 4mm.
Actually, it shows those measurements as the distance from the BOTTOM of the float to cover, but I think that's not correct. I believe Huib has the manual available on CD

Yes, I found it on the CD.

Thanks for the help.
