Flaminia & Aurelia in Ruoteclassiche

Check out the November issue of Italy's Ruoteclassiche mag: It features great pictures and a story on Raymond Loewy's rather strange styling attempt on the basis of a Flamina Coupé - the Loraymo - I guess we've all seen prettier Flaminias.

And the same issue also has a nice story on a rather special Aurelia B24S, built to order by Pinin Farina for the sculptor Umberto Mastroianni (at that time - 1959 - much better known than his nephew Marcello who would soon become a famous actor with 'La doce vita').

Enjoy (Italian language skills might be helpful) - George

Hi George,
Have you actually seen the Loraymo in the "Metal"? I had similar views to yourself from looking at the photos, but in 2003 I got to see it in the Lancia Museum. It totally changed my opinion, it looks wonderful even though it is a bit Americanised & I wish it was mine.
