Pre/post war Lancia employee ID coin/badge/medal?

I've a brass coin which seems to be from the pre war Lancia factory as the text reads LANCIA TORINO & CO TORINO * FABR D'AUTOMOBILI around its edge and then 3144 stamped in the middle. Also stamped are the years 1937, 38, 39 ,40, 41 and then 1946, 47, 48. I guess the 3144 refers to the owner and the dates to years served at the factory. Anybody know more?
