At the Bonhams sale at Monaco, on may 15th a B24 Spider America sold for € 204'900.
This is the same price achieved at the same venue by a Ferrari F40. For half that amount you could buy a Ferrari Daytona. Interesting!
Who knows more about the previous history of that Spider?

I think I know the "American" history of this car, but don't want to say in public unless I'm absolutely right.

Unfortunately they removed the photos before I could see them. I was in Monaco for the Historic Grand Prix and meant to get out to see the car in person, but no luck...
