Astura and Aprilia for sale at auction

Unread post by Sébastien Simon »

On Monday 10.12.01 there were 2 interesting cars for sale at auction, in Paris, at Poulain Le Fur:
1 Astura factory berlina, 2nd series
1 Aprilia specialbodied convertible by Langenthal

Both were described as being in perfect restored condition!!
See:
For the Astura: http://www.poulainlefur.com/francais/Au ... /Lot13.htm
For the Aprilia: http://www.poulainlefur.com/francais/Au ... /Lot14.htm

Both were well known cars, with history.
I shall report the achieved prices once they are available.

Oh, I almost forgot a Flaminia 2,8 GT 3C, with an interesting description regarding amounts spent for restoration!

I'm looking for an Appia series 2 Berlina for sale in the states, preferably original and not a project car. Any ideas where to look?

Looking for Appia Series 2 in the USA

Shannon,

You should try the american Lancia club:
http://www.americanlanciaclub.org/
and their mercato.
But why not buy a nice Appia in Europe for a vacation and bring it back to the States afterwards?
If you are interested, I know a nice Series 2 in Switzerland that could be available!

Would it be possible to forward pics of the Lancia in Switzerland? If the car was top notch, I might be interested.
Thanks! My email for pics is shannon@mbay.net
