Coupe Door Panels

Hi All,
Some rotten swine forced a wing mirror and broke it a few nights ago. I would like to check out the mechanism to determine of it can be fixed before spending £200+ on a replacement. Now the question is how to remove the red reflector on the rear of the door panel. This has to be done (well I think so any how) to gain access to the last screw keeping the attached to the door.
Your help will be appreciated! I'm hoping someone is online now in fact ;O)
Thanks
Gus

Use a screwdriver and brute force Gussie! Or get your wallet out. Do what I do. Buy a £600 Citroen estate and keep the K safe in the garage

cheers

Haha Lindsay is right about "brute force"... right after we bought the Kappa 3 years back I decided to remove the door panels because of some sqeaky sound (never found anything and was gone when I screwed the panel back on?)...It took more than half an hour to figure out where all the screws where inlcuding the ones hiding under the 2 little rubber dots in the handle (driver's door).

Many thanks for all your comments. The panel was removed and replaced with minimal damage (lug tab to reflector snapped).
Until the next time,
Gus

Well done Lindsay, it seems you actually gave some constructive advice. Albeit unintentionally!!!
Need to get you a position as technical adviser to the Kappa Coupe Consortium. LOL

Angle Grinder and Lindsay...
How many paintjobs have you scratched when your Lancias met out there in the real world!

Hi Karsten,
Its all in jest. Lindsay and I actually have a 50:50 share in the same car and we're good friends.
I just don't trust him with a spanner and wouldn't let him change the car mats on my car!
:0)

Haha... what car is that?
I am guessing it is neither a Kappa nor a Thema (unless its a 8.32)...

You should see the guys with spanners in their hands - a sight to behold!

Are we going for the longest unrelated tread in this forum.
