door speakers for my kappa

Hello all, I just stumbled upon this message board looking for help with the speakers in my Kappa.
I am trying to find a way to replace the door speakers without buying new Lancia speakers but nothing seems to fit. Has anyone upgraded their speakers? and how did you do it?
Thanks!
David

Hello,

Well, I had the same problem, as in ... I wanted more power but I could not find any speakers that would fit in the door hole or in the rear, and, at the same time, would be more powerfull.

So, I've solved the problem by adding a powerfull sub-woofer to the sound system, mounted inside the trunk. Also added a amplifier just for the sub-woofer.

This solution can cost you more and steel some space of your trunk, but will provide you with a excellent power and quality sound, without any changes or modifications to your car.

If you want more details, I can take some pictures and show you everything.

I presently have 2 Rockford Fosgate 12" subs in the trunk with 800+ watts running them. I really need to get the boost in the mid range in the front,
Thanks for the reply though.
