new Delta info at last...
Re: new Delta info at last...
this looks great, and family friendly with the long wheelbase etc. 'hope it avoids becoming a Rover by lacking "sports" image. nobody has ever succeded without the sport ingredient. May replace our Audi Sportback with one .
Re: new Delta info at last...
strange that there have been no reactions to the new Delta; I saw it in Geneva...not too impressed but maybe I was expecting too much...I think it would appeal to a younger crowd...
Re: new Delta info at last...
Well, I thought the Delta looked pretty good and the presentation was interestingly "boudoir chic" .some of interior was rewrapped Bravo which was only became apparent when I took a first look at the Fiat which is better than it has to be; did the Bravo use Lancia developed design ?Some of the details were familiar. No alacantara headlining though...
Perhaps the lack of interest is because many people buy a Lancia as a bargain second hand car . This must be prevented by good residuals . Alfa are trying to do this, but their cars lack the warmth of Lancia products. danger is the Lancia not having the sportiness everybody likes in attempt to avoid overlap with Alfa. It must not be a Rover . Remember them?

Re: new Delta info at last...
my feelings are close to yours...as for the headlining, I read somewhere that the cars on display in Geneva were not to the final specification...was at the Lancia dealer yestarday and was told that a lot of Kappa and Lybra owners are holding on to thier cars while Lancia has nothing for them for now...including the new Delta...I fall into that category...my Lybra just passed 160K kms and got serviced yesterday...they told me its in very good shape but will soon need new stabiliser bars on the front and rear suspension...timing chain will have to be changed by 180K...still, cheaper than buying a new car and absorbing the depreciation...in a French magazine I read, quoting Olivier Francois (CEO of Lancia) that they are planning cars in the vein of the Fulvia, Aurelia and Flaminia and fully wish to maximise synergies with Alfa and Maserati...let's wait and see what will come.
