Brigitte Bardot & Flaminia

Good morning everyone,
Many books about Lancia feature the famous image of Brigitte Bardot (recently deceased) sitting on the hood of a Flaminia in the chapter dedicated to the Flaminia. The image captions always incorrectly state that the car was a Pininfarina Flaminia Coupé. Actually, it was a Flaminia sedan: this is especially evident by looking at the headlight surrounds, among other details. They have the typical spire shape of the sedan one, not the circular shape of the Coupé.
I can't understand how this now "historic" mistake persisted for years.
Best regards
Paolo
