Is it possible to replace the lower ball joint without special tools?

If so, how is this tool designed and what should be disassembled on the car?

Yes. You can.
Put an axle stand under the spring. Lower the car until lower wishbone has moved. Undo nut. Use ball joint tool to loosen ball joint from swivel. I use a fork like on picture and a big hammer.

Remove M8 bolt of shock absorber. Take out the 2 pcs M18 bolt fastening wishbone to aluminium tower. Remove nut of ball joint Take out wishbone. Use press to remove ball joint from wishbone. In an extreme case you may have to destruct the housing of the ball joint to remove from wishbone.

Assemble in reverse order
