stuck clutch disc ?

Good evening everyone
My Fulvia is giving me a tantrum that I had never heard of: I have been using it for at least 20 years, and for the first time last week, I was not able to drive with it, the engine started fine, but impossible to shift into one gear or the other. With the engine off, the lever moves well in the 5 positions, but if I start with a gear engaged, the car jumps and stalls.
I see sites on the web that talk about stuck clutch discs.
First I wonder how this can happen; I usually stop my car and leave it in gear to avoid applying the handbrake. I would like to point out that she sleeps in my unheated basement garage, where the temperature in winter should be around 12 to 15 degrees.
This spring I drove my car several times, without any problems, each time for a few dozen km to get it warmed up and everything working.
How can we take this off? do you have to remove the gearbox to access the clutch? The disc is relatively new, it is 4 years old and has been driven for 15,000 km
Thank you in advance for any experiences or ideas you may have.
Sincerely. George2 (France)
