Need help: factory installed alarm - Gemini 3003

Guys,

by mistake i seem to have reseted the alarm on my S2, how can i reprogram the remote on the car? i've folowed the steps on the owners manual for the infrared remote... but with little sucess, has anyone had this problem? what can i do about it?
