Hi all
I have a cold starting problem on my 90 8.32. The engine is very difficult to fire up from cold. It turns over ,eventually fire up, but not on all cylinders initailly, then settles down to correct idle. When hot it fires up no problem.
Any ideas or suggestions gratefully recieved

First thing to check is the temperature sensor. There is a different one for the ECU and for the dashboard so don't assume if instruments read normal that the sensor is OK.
Another idea is that the hose pipes in the fuel tank are perished. See the technical tips on
www.lancia-tdc.co.uk for more details and pictures about this.

Hi Kevin,
I had the same issue with my S1 8.32, and the first thing we did was replace the cold start sensor, which made no difference at all!
Ended up replacing one of the injection system relays - can't recall which exactly, but can find out if you need more info.
regards,
Richard
