Cinghiale

All,

I'm looking for the correct leather color tone "Cinghiale" - which were found on some GT cars during the 60ies.

My search is for a Maserati. As the knowledge about this seems to be limited in the Maser forums, I'm now widening my search.

Any info, picture or reference would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pär Madsen

Hello Pär

I admit I have never heard of any Lancia with a Cinghiale interior. As "cinghiale" means wild boar, I suspect that it does not refer to any specific colour of the interior but rather to the leather ("pelle" in Italian) being used. I once read about a Sinatra car being fitted with this type of leather - and indeed a Google search brings up some more info on this: http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/miur ... /4407.html

I hope this helps in your search for the pelle di cinghiale!

Best regards
George
