Hi,

Right-door rear-view mirror on my Lancia Thema 2000 i.e. 16V doesn't work. When I try to align it, it seems that an electr. motor of mirror works but mirror glass doesnt't move.

I couldn't reach inside of mirror to check if electr. motor have contanct with glass or not.

How can I do it? Where can I find a reparation guide for door mirrors?

Best regards,
Rustam

The best thing you can do is to go to a mechanics man!...That's the easiest way...:-)

Hi!

Open the mirrors housing (screws from below) and have a look whats going on with the mechanic parts.

Regards

Rolf

Sorry this is such a late reply .
First you'll have to take the glass out :
Push the mirror as far out as it will go . At the door end you should be able to get long nosed pliers behind the glass and remove the heater element plug and unclip the retaining wire .
With the glass out you'll see the two motors which move the mirror . If the motors seems to work , but the mirror doesn't move , chances are the rack and pinion linkage is broken . Have a look , you may be able to fix it .
When you replace the glass remember to do the retaining clip up first . Then a firm push will lock it back in place .
