Ciao Brian, your door had been more then likely painted with "rosso cappannelle" which was the only red used for the convertibile Vignale. The colour should be still available by Lechler sellers.

Regarding the translation the words written by pen have non meaning in italian; I don't know, I'll try to investigate a bit more.

The attached picture of the red Flavia would be a good match. What would be the color code for this car.

Thanks,

brian

Hi Brian, yes, it could be but if you want the exact matching you need to order "rosso cappannelle" Lechler code 193.

Moreover the car in your picture had been likely repainted because the bottom part of the bodywork should be black

Is this what rosso cappannelle looks like (see attached photo)? If so my door frame has more red color in it.
Also what portion of the car should be painted black and is the black the car undercoating?

The red color of the swatch in the photo that I posted is the Original
rosso cappanelle.
The swatch is the Flavia Vignale swatch
But off course you get a deviation when you take a photo of a color sample

Hi Brian, it's not possible to determine the exact colours by a picture but just for reference take a look of the picture attached where rosso cappannelle is compared door to door with the famous rosso alfa romeo; It appears a bit brighter.
