Flaminia 3C GT engine recommissioning

Messaggio da leggere da Flami »

Hello there,

Now I have a little more time for my Flaminia 3C Touring Coupe. She has not been moved since 2006 but continuously well maintained before since 1962. A few months ago I was in the lucky situation and bought the car by the widow of the last owner.

I would like to bring the engine of the Flaminia after this long storage time in a running condition again. What steps are useful to realise this? Is there somethink to take care about in connection with the Weber carburetors that should be considered essential in order to avoid any damage? Should I hereby consider the fuel pump area, the cooling and oil circuit etc. closer? I am grateful for any information or any advice.

Kind regards
Flami
