Translated from DE (partial german to be honest) to UK - originally in response to a completely different Lancia "Berlina" matter:
QUOTING MYSELF:
for someone from N. America or perhaps anyone from an English Speaking Country ; living in Germany or other Germanic Language Country :
ein "Berliner" is something sweet to eat. Quote JFK "I am a Jelly-Donut !" spoken when he was in Berlin - when I was very young.
ein "Amerikaner" is a tasteless - fat - dry - lump of bakes dough cookie; partially 1/2 covered either brown or white wax or with both. Racial Equity !!
ein "Frankfurter" is, in many UK speaking Lands, a Hot-Dog of unknown origin; often eaten on a tasteless rubberry bread -un; am besten (best) covered with food-items that have taste; 'cause Frankfurter & Bun have none. In Germanic Speaking Lands too.........Yuck !!
JFK was not a Hog-Dogger ! Maybe he never visited Frankfurt; had he done so, after visiting Berlin, he would have to say "I am a Frankfurter". Equality again !!
of course everyone knows that a "Hamburger" sells Hamburgers, anywhere in the World; although in some parts of the world they are referred to as Frikadellen. - which are crispy dry Hamburgers often served on a dry tasteless crispy bun.... I am not sure if persons from Hamburg (which is a land locked republic surrounfed by FROG (Federal Republic of Germany), say "I am a Hamburger" ?
Note: Bremen too is an independent country surrounded by FROG.
Besides all that; a "wienerschnitzel["/b] is a "fat-Sausage" in N. America [www.wienerschnitzel.com]; preferably hidden from view by toppings & extras...
& - in N. America (& elsewhere?) a [b"]Veal Cutlet" is a Veal Cutlet & is not a Wienerschnitzel, nor is it a Schnitzel "Wiener-Art" (Vienna Style); which - depending on how it is prepared will make a Veggie gag every time. In German Language Countries a Wiener Schnitzel is a lamb-chop, while a Schnitzel Wiener Art is a Pork-Chop ... I'd rather tat it was referred to as a "Schweine-Schnitzel" for clarity purposes. Poor Pigs !! PS: there are no Beef-Schnitzel, to my knowledge.
Back to UK speaking Lands: "Weenies" are "short, linked Hot Dogs" ; eaten 1 by 1, not on a bun; but they could be eaten on a bun.
And this evening we will fabricate a left "Rocker Panel" for kappa Coupe # 1 (small k is korrekt !) in order to have it roadworthy by next week
As long as kC is out of action awaiting: 1 "neue" panele, rostschutz (protection); lack (paint), we have a good-reason to drive our single remaining gC S1 (small g is correct) every day
once kC # 1 is 100% "ready to rocket", it will be "offered" for sale; since its ex-primary-driver now drives a Off-Road-Vehicle - due to a new Job-Requirement; carrying large animals in a kC would spoil them; they would fight about who get to sit in front & play with the stereo !
after kC #1 is sold kC # 2 can be driven; it is now sitting "at Home-Alone" in its own well-ventilated garage. Being a "Firmen-Wagen" is can not be sold until it is "abgeschrieben"; (written-off the Books / fully depreciated) thereafter, we will buy it / keep it als unsere "Privat-Eigentüm" (our personal-property)
NOTE: this AM a Benz AMG Panzer followed gC thru a series of curves & bends; awaiting a short-straight to "blast-past"; when the straight arrived gC driver was smoothy 100m ahead of frustrated AMG driver; who had to stay behind gC at the next rossa Semephore sowieso (alas!!). Oncoming traffic prevented any passing of any vehicle overtaking any other vehicle; still gC reached 140kph on straights (in 70kph zones !!) . AMG did too.
The last 1/2km to be driven by gC driver was in a 30kph Zone; I drove 32kph; AMG driver drove (est.) 80kph & passed in a cloud of dust ! Who Cared ?
Drive gamma = smile relax meditate sing.
More kC & gC News soon.
