multijet thesis motorsteuerung störung

Hallo,
Ich habe eine Thesis von 2004, ein 20V JTD mit Comfortronic. Sehr schönes Auto. Vor zwei Wochen begannen die Probleme plötzlich. Die Motorstörung, EPB und esp Störung Lichter gingen an und das Auto Motor verloren eine Menge Power. Mindestens einen Zylinder war außer Funktion. Das Auto noch startet, aber ist natürlich sehr faul und der Motor vibriert. Fehlercodes wurden überprüft und es gab drei; P0201 (Injektor Zylinder eine Fehl) C1101 (Kommunikationsproblem mit Motormanagement) und C1412 (Neigungswinkel nicht kalibriert). Ich glaube, der letzte, der mit der Fahrerseite Spiegel tun, wie es seltsam am Abend vor dem großen Problem gehandelt hat.
Dennoch hatte ich alle in der Werkstatt geprüft Injektoren (alle herausgenommen und geprüft) und jeder einzelne in einwandfreiem Zustand ist. Sie wurden wieder mit neuen Dichtungen setzen, aber das Problem weiterhin besteht ... Zylinder eins funktioniert nicht. Die Injektor-Anschlüsse überprüft werden, wie auch die Kabel so weit sie sichtbar sind.
Es sieht aus wie die Kabel gehen irgendwo unter dem Sicherungskasten hinter dem linken Scheinwerfer. Ist die ECU dort gelegen? Das Auto ist 240 000 km gefahren.

Hallo,

I'm trying to get the car fixed by monday. Could somebody tell me where I can find the ECU so I can check the connections. Is it possible that the inlet manifold could be so dirty that air can not enter to cylinder 1?

sorry that nobody tried to answer, but i think the most guys are in vacation. :)

Unfortunately i don't have the 2.4 MJet Thesis, in my case - the 2.0 petrol Turbo - the ECU is splitted into two parts.
The injection ECU is located on the fresh air-in manifold, it is a relative small box, about 10cm x 10cm.

The main brain ECU is located in the inside of your Thesis, behind the small compartment left from the steering wheel. The eOBD plug is also located there.

It is always a good idea to check the connections on this combinated ECU (main body computer) & fuse box.

Thank You for your help. I´m not sure but I think that on JTD the injection ECU is located elsewhere, the cables from the injectors seem to go somewhere far down beside the engine (on the drivers side).

I have to disassemble the big fuse box in order to see where the cables go (to the injection ECU I suppose).

The ECU unit for the 2.4 JTDm Thesis is located below the left side headlight as you assumed ... you will have to remove the oil-radiator to get to the ECU unit.

Problems with rotten connectors are not unusual as the ECU unit is located very miserable ...

Hello,

thanks for the advice. Just to be sure; with left side you mean the drivers side?
Under the fuse box casing I can see a plastic casing. Is the injection ecu inside this box?
Can I get to the ecu from the engine bay or through the drivers side wheelhouse?

A short summary of the situation: I managed to remove the oil radiator and the ECU. I cleaned the contacts but it was not helpful. Next I measured the resistance for the wires coming to cylinder 1.
The wire coming to pin 16 was broken. It seems the wire is broken by the plastic inlet resonator which has vibrated excessively and damaged (cut) the cable...
