Can anybody give me advise on what is wrong with my 8.32 tachometer. It seems that the needle will only go up to about 5000rpm, although the engine seems to be screaming its head off. It does seem to be reading just below 1000rpm at idle. Any ideas? thanks

I have the same problem on my 8.32. Some times the rpm are indicated correct and in wet conditions
the rpm are from 1000 to 1800 rpm .
As soon as i have a solution i let you know.
