Hi Bruno!
The reason are ground wires inside the engine room, under the headlamps. On the left and right side are (i don`t know the english word) hedgehog`s for the ground connection (body).Clean this connection and the problem is blown away.
sorry,for my bad english
regards, Jörg

You defently have a ground problem. Check the connections under
the board, You can try too wire directly from the battery too
eliminate the problem,

bad contact of the ground cable located near the battery,
and connected to the car's chasis, may cause this problem,
There's two ground junctions beneath the radiator that
should also be checked

I've got the same problem. But I have checked the ground connections and cleaned them. i don't where the sensor for my warning signal is, I don't even know what it is warning me for. It is the one on the bottom left of the check panel. Could anyone tell me what it is and where it is located. (P.s. I thought it was oil level but it seems the bottom middle is for oil).

The bottom left oil light is for oil level(looks like a dipstick), the middle bottom one is for oil pressure (looks like an oil can).
My Oil pressure gauge does not work - dead sender unit, but the oil pressure check light does not come on so it obviously has its own sender/sensor. Not sure where the oil level sensor is.

The bottom left oil indicator is for the engine oil level and the centre oil indicator is for automatic gear box oil only

With most faults that are displayed on the fault senser unit, it is sometimes the fact that there is actually a fault! On my thema 16v turbo i have for many years seen the battery light / oil / headlights come on, and have always found it to be loose / broken / corroded earth wires as being responsable. however one time it was the main battery earth lead which bolts to the gear box casing which was nearly broke and was causing sometimes the starter motor to click then work, the other time it was the alternater which was not producing 14 .5 volts more like 12 .2 the fault senser is designed to measure this voltage and if it is incorrect lite the battery fault lamp. A new battery earth lead and a replacement voltage regulator on the alternater cured the faults.

Whoops! The the three oil indicators at the bottom of the fault display are
bottom left low engine oil, middle low oil pressure, right low gear box oil automatics only. It helps if you look at the manual and not guess from memory like i did. sorry.
