I don't know what this indicates, but could you tell me where to find the switch that activates the overboost?

Going to have it fix at my local Lancia shop on Friday. The overboost switch is at the top of the inlet-manifold. (where the pedal-wire comes out)

The way I understand it works is that full throttle operates the overboost. The light indicates that overboost is on and remains so for varying lengths of time dependant upon engine speed. 30seconds at 2500rpm and 2seconds at 5300rpm or somewhere in between for other speeds. Doesn't sound to me like there's anything wrong with what your car is doing.

Ok, thanks for the information. I asked at my lancia workshop and they told me that it should always light. I had it in for serivce but they found a broken rubber tube that they change. Think it was the one between the wastgate.... The car runs quite good now. Anyone have some experience with raising the turbo pressure on these cars?
