After a series of 'common' electrical problems I encoutered a new one:

The reverse indicator lights (white ones on the back of the car) are always on. I've unplugged the light bulbs for now. but is there anyone who can give me hints as where to look for the problem. (switches, grounding etc)

Thanks a mill.

Maybe this won't help you much, but in general there is an electric switch at the shifting which recognizes if the reverse gear is engaged. You should check this switch first, but I can't tell you where it is placed exactly.

It sounds like the reversing switch is knackered! It may well be stuck in, it's located on the back of the gearbox above where the gear linkage fits to the gearbox, hope this may help.
