LPG installation in Lancia Lybra
Inviato: 03 giu 2014, 08:56
Dear Friends,
I want to make some questions about the installation of an LPG system to my car. Lancia Lybra 1.6, 2004.
Some months ago I bought a Lancia Lybra 1596cc, 2004, 16V, fuel:petrol, type:AXF1A/12C, with engine No:182B6000 and vehicle No: ZLA83900000153673. Also, the type of the petrol ECU is IAW 4EF.B5
I decided to install an LPG system in this car and I have already bought the BRC Sequent24 MY10 system.
When, last week we made the installation of this system, when we tried to start the machine this was not possible and the petrol ECU was damaged. One output for one of the injectors was not working.
Finally, we have it repaired and the car is ok now, but without the LPG system installed.
We think that all the connections that we have done are correct and according to the BRC connection drawing that we have.
I want to ask you if this car can accept a LPG system and if the answer is yes, is this BRC LPG system suitable for this type of engine?
Has anyone already installed an LPG sytem in his car and if yes which is it?
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact with me.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
