I will post, for as many days as it takes, in reverse order - some details of looking for / looking at / buying a Fulvia in IT
New fulvia 1
We have been recently informed & shown "in the paint" that the latest trend in "auto-body/chassis restoration" is to paint the vehicle underside with the same paint/same color as the upper side; to then flood those areas with tons of wax.
Thick inches / several tons of black-tar undercoating (inside cabin & under floor) is out of fashion
I assume that too much "unseen-damage" can be hidden.
Now we understand why our newly purchased Fulvia Cpe -that we are to transport on 12 May from Cremona, IT to Brescia, IT for "final-preps" prior to having it truck-transported to Heidelberg has a lovely shiny white underfloor/wheel well paint decor....the latest fad !
OK, we will learn to love it !

Hi John,
Are there Fulvia spareparts you need? I accept payments in Grappa......
We, my figlio Jeroen and I, made some very nice mead last year and we have some 20 litres in production now.
Cheers Lucas (not Lukas)

oops, LuCas
by dint of my living in DE - since Uncla -am sent me here in Times of Moses - bit by bit all words / names with a "C" bekame words with "K"; at least in DE CH / DE / AT & parts of LUX
However, from this moment on - when I talk to you / write you / write about you .... you will always be LuCas in my mind.
1 Xception of the "K" rule is lovely Sports-Lady Carla of Walldorf (Wall Town) where we co-reside; she is & has always been Carla with a C.. Still, she being German in DE, Carla is usually spelled Karla with a "K"; she has given up correcting everyone, documents, invoices, emails....she never thought to ask her (German in Germany) parents why she is Carla
anways- John is Ivan in many E. Euro languages; which means I am often referred to as Ivan; I call (sometimes) my Ivan friends "H`John"; which is better than "a boy named Sue" ha ha. In IT I am not Johnny; I become "Gianni"; which is a better name than Bennito !
Good Song by the (USA Band) Hooters - "Karla with a K"
