Hockenheimring has registered the Marken-Club "Lancia Classic" for the Bosch Memorial Weekend in April; all Lancia are welcome

have I mentioned that Hotel am Museum is already full, over 150 rooms !!

thus far the Lancia Gamma & all Lancia Friends Meeting" to be held starting Friday PM 11.04.14 at Museum Hotel in Speyer; on Saturday we will visit the Bosch Classic Jim Clark Memorial Hockenheimring Event both "on track & off track" (ha ha) Experience ... only on Saturday & enjoy Saturday evening in Speyer-Town or some town close by.

On Sunday in Museum Hotel in a large Breakfast-Sall there is a Line-Dance Party scheduled, excellent localish Line Dance Club Members Dancing up a Storm to (non German) Pop & Country Songs- at +- 09:45 to ??? Yahoo Pardner ! Lancia Meeting Attendees will be taught a simple Line Dance !

NOTE: Line Dance is not Square Dance; the LD Party will continue after the Lancia Attendees departs for a Vine Yards Tour / with speedy but safe driving in the lovely Hills of Rheinland-Pfalz.

Thus far there has been a good deal of interest from International & from Local Lancsti, not only Gammisti. Very Local Lancisti Locals will arrive in:
Gamma, Thema Ferrari, Gamma kC, Fulvia FSZ (+ other Fulvia), Thema Ferrari 8.32, a just restored Flavia 2000HF, Thema 2.0 (1 owner), Delta & we hope many other Lancia of Beauty.

Day at Hockenheimring:

Preparation for Lancia Classic at "Home of Historical Deutsche Motor Sport"

Speyer to Hockenheim Ring - recommended Route:

11.04.14 - Pump Up Tires for Ring-Laps; do not arrive at Ring with a completely full nor a very empty Tank; remove all excess items from Car, stash these items in Hotel Room; reserved fuel tanks, gearboxes, winter tyres etc .

AM - 12.04.14 - mid-Pfalz Tour (approx 2 Minute) over River to Part 1 of mid-Baden Tour (approx 20 minutes)

from Speyer to Hockenheimring

departure from Museum Hotel - left & left to traffic-light; drive across intersection - onto B39 - Rhein-Bridge
departure from Speyer-Town - drive toward Bridge & under bridge follow sign Heidelberg
- take right at 1st traffic-light onto B39; stay on B39 for a while.
all-Drivers - drive (east) over Rhein-Bridge - take1st right after bridge - at traffic-light - onto B39 - direction Walldorf; drive thru Swampy Nature-Park (sometimes the swampt are river flooded & overflow onto B39 !! ) on right (Sud) & left (Nord) of B39.
all-Drivers Do not exit B39 to enter B36; no matter what your Satnav says.
Leave B39 (turn left).
Leave B39 (turn left) at Reilinger Strasse - direction Hockennheim Sud (this is the left just before a possible right turn at traffic-light into Reilingen; which is too far !!
If you miss this turn curse loudly; do turn quickly right toward Reilingen & reverse your route
OR
drive for miles & miles to Walldorf; then turn around somewhere or another & try try again to find Reilinger Strasse - to the right after the left toward Reilingen). OK ?

Once on Reilingen Strasse stay on Reilingen Strasse; cruise past HEM Fuel Station; take next right onto Hubacker Ring Strasse; following small Blue Signs ; to (forced left) Wald Strasse; turn right at next Blue Sign onto Continental Strasse; drive thru tunnel under Autobahn & arrive at the

"Home of Historical Deutsche Motor Sport"
