There's no need to remove the engine. One front engine lambda (second row as it's counted from the back) can be easily replaced from the bottom of the car. When you take away the plastic cover you can nicely see it. The second one on the back is a bit complicated but still no worry. The only way how to get to it is from the top. So you have to disassemble the intake manifold. Than you should be able to see it clearly. But there's not enough room for any universal tool so I had to buy a special one directly for lambda probes. It was not expensive and the job of screwing it out and in took less than two minutes with it.
The connectors for lambdas are in a plastic box next to the engine on it's left side between the rows.

Hey Vladimir,

thx a lot! We (ok, my mechanic) already were able to manage it. But your infos might be useful, it the animal bites in my thesis again :-/
I just made an inshurance now, which pays up to € 3000, if the beast should get hungry again.

How is yor 3.2 V6 compared with the 3.0 ? Big difference in performance? My first intention was to buy a 3.2, but then there was a great
occasion for a 3.0. An I'm really happy with that car. Gorgeous!!
